"You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch"
"Who is this Ravenscroft," you may ask, "and what do he and Tony the Tiger have to do with Christmas?" Well, quite simply, Thurl Ravenscroft (1914-2005) was the voice of Tony the Tiger, and he also sang "The Grinch Song" in How the Grinch Stole Christmas (among numerous other achievments)."Thurl Ravenscroft" is a great name, and he had a truly great, basso-profundo voice to go with it. Let's listen--
Rest in peace, Thurl Ravenscroft. Your voice will be delighting children and adults, alike, for years to come.
