Ingredients:
2/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup pecan halves
1 cup whole almonds
Mix all ingredients in 8-inch skillet over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is melted and nuts are coated - about 20 minutes. Remove nuts from pan and cool on waxed paper. They will be clumped together, so break apart. Store at room temperature (if they aren't all eaten, immediately, that is). Makes about three cups.
